Cleaning for free time
Its been too long since I wrote here! I’ve started some ideas but have bee interrupted by children and my husband I even tried to write a little at work but have found that work needs to be done first.
Well I am home alone right now. I was blessed to have to work a weekend day and So although I am technically on call I can sit at home and wait for them to call. I took the opportunity to wash/ steam clean out living-room carpet. I started at 10:00 finally as I had lost the directions for our cleaner and I had too down load them. I have now at 12:30 gone over the floor 4 times and the water is still coming up dark gray. It looks a lot better though. I discovered as I started the 4th go over that the indicator that the brushes were on was not spinning at that indeed the brushes were off. I am hoping that when I go over it the last time (if the 4th was not it) I will find the water a lot cleaner.
It funny that I am using this time to clean because I really am not a fan of cleaning. Don’t get me wrong I am a fan of clean. and I actually hope to get some progress in either the garage or the basement today. It must have something to do with insanity or just plain fed-up-ness with the general state of the house.
It seems that we never have time to clean dishes et done but rarely are they all done. Frequently we have a drainer full of clean a dishwasher full of clean or soon to be clean and then a pile sitting on the counter waiting. Today it is that but not too bad. I hope to remedy that as well. I am getting a head start on the weekend’s laundry and am on my second load already.
